We are pleased to announce that a review article from our 2013 publications has downloaded more than three hundred times during the past year. According to Elsevier, the article “Is oxytocin a therapeutic factor for Ischemic Heart Disease?” has downloaded or viewed 322 times since its publication date (measured through 31 January).

The mentioned article was published on Peptides (journal) in 2013 by Dr. Alizadeh, principal investigator of PCCRG, and Ms. Mirzabeglo. This review shows that in the presence of oxytocin, the cardioprotective effects may be increased to some extent. The presented board of evidence focuses on the valuable effects of oxytocin on myocardial function and candidates it for future clinical studies in the realm of ischemic heart diseases.
