This model stablished by subcutaneous injection ofmouse C549 (C1300) neuroblastoma cell line in to the BALB/c mice left flanks. C549 is a subclone of Neuro-2a, a clonal line of C1300 mouse neuroblastoma cells. The cells were selected for spontaneous mutations deficient in HGPRT in the presence of 8-azaguanine. This model by formation an ectopic brain tumor, allows us to measure the tumor size and volume changes on the response to treatment.
